Excellent warm welcome to hotel. Our room was perfect, very warm on chilly nights. The Breakfast was very good, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurts, Full English breakfast, toast , pastries, would suit all tastes if you were hungry. £7.00 to park car 24hrs. Ideal to walk into centre for shopping. Would return & recommend .

The hotel lived up to our expectations. We got a great rate and the room was very clean. The breakfast staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The only negative was when I went down to the bar to purchase wine to take to the room. The price was £7+ a glass which is extortionate. I drove to the local shop instead. We will definitely book again next year though.

I booked into this hotel for a conference. At the time I checked in there were another dozen or so people ahead of me but only one person on check-in. Consequently progress was extremely slow despite the fact that we had all pre-booked. In the main the rooms were very nice but there were a couple of niggly things: the extracter fan in the bathroom did not work (it didn't work on my previous stay either!) and the shower curtain didn't fit properly so it didn't stop the bathroom floor getting wet. What really annoyed me was the rissotto that had been left over from dinner on the Saturday evening being served for lunch on the Sunday; the vegetarian options were a salad or the rissotto. A bit more thought could have been given to the food even if there was a spend limit imposed by the conference organisers.
