really good nights sleep, despite being close to airport we weren't disturbed by plane noise. Only draw back the preset bath water temp was too high and could only be cooled by adding kettles full of cold water from the sink. Other than that a lovely hotel

I use this hotel on a fairly regular basis. Despite there being building alterations being carried out the hotel disruption was kept to a minimum. The staff were helpful and courteous. My room, as usual was basic but clean, tidy and adequate. The restaurant food is not the finest, but was acceptable for pub fare (it's a Whitbread operation); the waiting staff were attentive but struggled to get the kitchen to make variations to the dish-as-advertised on the menu, e.g., a request for extra crackers in place of bread with the cheese board resulted in the bread still coming and an apology that the kitchen was too busy to swap bread for crackers.. hmmm!

Hotel reasonably close to heathrow and confortable and quiet for a good sleep. the phone alarm failed to work. Otherwise good value for money

a very pleasant welcome at the desk. excellent clean room. great clean white bed covers and towels. easy check out. not a good access to the shuttle bus- i remember it used to arrive at the back door and that was a much nicer place to wait.
