Most notably I like Yeegos price quotes for an entire stay, not quotes based on the average nightly price like so many other hotel reservation websites do.

Hotel was nice and clean and staff friendly. However on yeego website I read there was a complimentary bus to and from airport as is quite normal for airport hotels. When we got on the bus we had to pay £2 per person one way. The driver said this had changed 15months back. I was not the only one who understood from a booking website that it was free. I informed the duty manager at the hotel to inform yeego so that the next person knows the bus costs £2. Also for some reason in the hotel they have the bus timetable FROM the AIRPORT on their walls. We read that and waited as it didn't say on the signs the timetable was FROM the AIRPORT and we assumed it was FROM the HOTEL. So we missed the bus as there was no timetable FROM the HOTEL. Why o why would you put the timetable FROM the AIRPORT in the hotel? Who needs that? We were not the only ones who made that mistake. Surely guests want to know when the bus is leaving FROM the HOTEL?? And finally we had an early flight and went for breakfast at abt 5:40am and we were told there would be a buffet breakfast. I have stayed in other Holiday Inn expresses by the airport and even though flights leave early the breakfasts have had some hot things ie eggs or something. In this hotel there was only cereal and some hot drinks from a machine. Nothing else. I was surprised as that's not really worth the money. Normally in an airport hotel you get something hot even if the flight is early since this is an airport hotel.....I don't expect the full breakfast but I do expect more than 2 cereal dispensers.

Handy stop off, close to airport. earlt breakfast would have been helpful.

The hotel itself was very comfortable and functional in the way that airport hotels tend to be. A good and varied breakfast buffet selection. The one major disappointment for me was having to pay £2 per person to use the hotel shuttle I travel quite frequently on business and this is the first time I have ever had to pay such a charge. When you are a party of three and you have to pay £6 one-way to get to and from the airport it does leave a bitter taste in the mouth. I notice that the Hilton Hotel at the airport also levy the same charge so I wonder is it due to the fact that maybe one bus company has some kind of monopoly at Stansted. Next time I would be tempted to stay off airport!
