Most notably I like Yeegos price quotes for an entire stay, not quotes based on the average nightly price like so many other hotel reservation websites do.

We were a little disappointed by the hotel given the fact that it was five star. Our room had a view over the restaurant, therefore we had to permanently keep our curtains closed.
On the last day it was raining so we decided to stay in the hotel for a while to read the Sunday papers. We went down to the mezzanine area bu were told that we couldn't sit there as we weren't platinum customers. We went back to the restaurant and a very kind waitress let us sit in the breakfast area. Only for her kindness we would have been stuck in our stuffy hotel room.
The room was clean and bed very comfy, however it was in need of modernization. In terms of location the hotel was perfect and obviously is the reason for the five star rating.

Perfect location, just some 20 meters from Piccadilly. The room category "Classic" was anything else but 5*, but this is the usual experience in London. Breakfast was excellent.

The staff were excellent and the hotel well placed for our purposes with great facilities. We were treated as well due to it being our anniversary - a very nice touch. Only gripe was the room which although clean and comfortable with great views, smelled of cigarettes and wasn't ready until 4.15pm resulting in us paying £10 for a bottle of water and a cup of coffee in the lounge.
