Room comfortable and clean. The location of the room in which I stayed was quiet, although Travelodges can be noisy if you are located mear a large group (eg school students on cultural visits). Although my room inlcuded breakfast, when I arrived at the breakfast room, 30 minutes before the scheduled closing time, everything had been cleared away. I pointed this out to the Reception staff and I was provided with a breakfast voucher for future use.

Having read reviews of the hotel, I wasn't expecting much but the hotel was very clean, service was good. And no young people running about as reviewed. A very pleasant stay, and would definately go back again.

The room and the food etc was all fine and the service too. But there were a lot of students staying over and they were smoking and running around the corridors for the most of the night. The students smoking caused the fire alarms to go off in the night twice, which meant we had to evacuate the building twice. I had to get up the following day for business and work meetings. I was extremely tired due to a lack of sleep from all the noise and the fire alarms. I have never had a problem with this hotel before as i have stayed there several times before. I was not happy about this at all and will be writing to the Hotel with a letter of complaint.

Basic, i.e no chair Fire alarms going off all the time, in the early hours of the morning. 3 times and staff didnt know where we should stand! Problems with no hot water the first day. Wont keep cases for you, and late check in 3pm. Everyone for themselves at breakfast, i.e not enough tables, queues, staff rushing you out whilst still eating, had to clear own table. Had to wait a good while for bacon.
