The rooms were very small but we understand that London hotels are all small anyway. The receptionist when we checked in didn't seem to have any interest in her job an we asked for a smoking room which we didn't get. Other than that it was clean and very close to everything.

Rooms were small but clean and comfortable. Only criticism would be that tea and coffee making facilities are available in the rooms. Breakfast could be more varied as cheese, ham and boiled eggs get a bit too much after staying there 3 nights and 7 nights prior to that in May. However, would certainly return to the Nayland when we get back to London and recommend it to fellow travellers.

Very small bedrooms and quite a lot of noise from other rooms and hallway. But we did not go to London to stay in the hotel, and as it is very near Paddington station, it's easy to get about in London from this hotel. The breakfastroom is very small, and the service is not excellent, but allover an acceptable hotel for a couple of nights.
