| We reserved a twin room and upon arrival they had no twin room available. They gave us two separate rooms; even though we are a (male) couple w/o asking. My partner's room was bigger but still small mine was in the lower level and tiny. Phone and tv did not work. Cleaning of carpet non-existent. London is expensive so we put up with it but we paid 63 pounds for a 50 pound hotel room. We never got beyond the main floor so I don't know if the upper floors were much better. The kitchenette was a good thing about the York Hotel. |

| very nice spacious rooms, televisions could do with being up-graded with satalite television as they have it in the bar/lounge area. location was great, especially for the underground and buses. food was ok, but there was no mention of having to pay extra for a cooked breakfast until you arrived at the restaurant lounge. a lot of work is being done at the moment on the hotel, (inside and outside) very noisy during the day with machinery. very polite, helpful staff |

| The rooms where very small with hardly any space where to even put the suitcases. The breakfast was really very, very rudimentary and again the breakfast room was very small. You could see the guests were feeling very irritated because of this. However the hotel was generally kept clean and close to the underground station. Iwould recommend to students who are on a tight budget. |

| York hotel was just fine. Rooms a bit cramped, as they always are i London, but clean. The first room we were shown was terrible, groundfloor behind the lift with no locks on the window. The next rooms was on the fifth floor and much better. The receptionist weren`t very friendly, but we didn`t care much. All and all, we are satisfied. Can really recommend staying in Earls court-neighbourhood though, so nice with lots of cosy restaurants and friendly people. |

| A very small room with the bed by the window (very cold even in the summertime so I had to put a blanket there). Very good with the fridge and microwaveoven. Nice shower. |
