We needed a reasonably priced hotel for a stopover in London. The Ascot Hyde Park Hotel was ideal for this - walking distance from the Paddington station, friendly, helpful reception staff, clean adequate room, good Italian restaurant next door, Hyde Park close enough to walk to and unwind after a long flight Sydney/Abu Dhabi/London. Would recommend to others

Central location near Paddington. Very simple and small rooms, the cleaning was OK, new towels every day. The breakfast restaurant not so good,too few tables and a long queue before the breadtoaster
