This is a great 3* hotel at the top end of the market at a central location. The bedrooms are bright and modern and quite spacious. Breakfast was a treat with all variety one might expect in a good 3* hotel. The staff were friendly, however they might "brush-up" on services provided locally, in particular when it comes to restaurants etc. Overall a great little hotel.

Rooms are pretty and clean. Service is very good. There isn't a restaurant but the breakfast is ok. Our room was on the second floor and my husband complained a bit about hearing cars and people walking into the hotel during the night (or in the early morning)- but I didn't notice. The location is good, walking distance for sight seeing and shopping. Cool area- many students around.

Excellent hotel at a very good price - especially via Yeego. We had a superior room which was very well appointed but even the smaller rooms are excellent - we have used Ten Hill Place before. The staff are very helpful, the breakfast is sumptuous and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people to use it.

Hotel was really lovely from moment we walked in. Very tranquil and beautifully decorated. Staff all through hotel were very polite and extremely helpful. Rooms were gorgeous, really luxurious and whole place was spotlessly clean. It was a bit of a walk to royal mile (just over 5mins) but we didnt mind that. Food also good. Will stay again.

Hotel was in a good location, not too noisy, in the old part of Edinburgh. Hotel was close to main tourist attractions ie. castle, festival theatre, royal mile etc. Only around 10-15mins walk to Princes Street for shops. Rooms comfy and clean and tidy but reasonably small. Reception staff friendly. Breakfast good if a little cramped at peak times (be prepared to wait as all tables were taken unless you are an early riser)
