location very good. our request to get a baby cote never reached the hotel even if we called before hand to make sure they got the request. none of the hotel staff was able to set up the cote either at our arrival.

The hotel is well located in the new Edinburgh, close to Theatres, shops and a 10 min. walk to the Royal Mile. The service at the hotel main reception is very lousy, same for the brekfast room where your unfinished breakfast will be removed if unattended for for a few seconds. Beside this, the room was OK and clean. The free wireless internet is extremely slow.

The hotel is very well appointed and the staff are friendly, but this Fire alarm going off every so often is most upsetting. This is the second time it has happened to me, the previous being at three o'clock in the morning.While I understand that by law you are required to provide smoking rooms,would fewer not be more acceptable and then the ammount of smoke generated would be less.

Good value for money hotel with easy access to city centre. The breakfast buffet was good, but could have been better organised, since most of the time went on a queue. The service was good and it was out of the busiest, noisiest centre, but you could still hear whilst in your room some of the customers slamming their doors. Clean, spacious rooms and of a walking distance to the attractions. We would recommend this hotel.
