| Rooms basic but nice. Easy walk to grassmarket and Royal Mile. Bed was one of those that folded up into the wardrobe so was very creaky. Internet wasn't working which was not good since we wanted to use it. Get a discount for parking in the multi storey down the road since there is no on-site parking. |

| Nice room. Staff polite. The only thing that spoiled out weekend was the fiasco with the water. We know it was outwith hotel's control but it slightly spoiled our break. The hotel we were transferred to was nice. |
