Hotel Description

The historic city of Canterbury has been a favourite with travellers since the time of Chaucer. The four star County Hotel is a small and friendly hotel that was first licensed as a hotel in 1892. Its history however can be traced further back, thanks to the 12th Century Cellars and the 15th Century public areas. The rooms however offer the facilities and comfort ot the present.

The County Hotel enjoys one of the finest locations the city right in the heart of the High Street and less than 5 minutes walk from the cathedral. At the rear of the hotel, where weary travellers once tethered their horses, there is parking space for up to 60 cars.

You're spoilt for choice when it comes to wining and dining, with the contrasting restaurants available without leaving the hotel. Sullys Restaurant is renowned for its fine dining. Enjoy an apperative in the cocktail bar while you peruse the menu and relax before you enjoy a meal. Tudor Bar is the perfect meeting point
