Great service lovely room excellent breakfast and well situated for Birmingham. The best hotel stay for a long time

Paid £106.00 for one night including breakfast. Trendy kind of building all glass and 18 floors. We were given the choice of being high up or low - we chose high and were given a room on the 15th floor. We had great views across the city. The walls to the outside were glass from floor to ceiling which was kinda scary when looking outside. One word of warning the minibar and snack bar in the room were very expensive and you had to be careful not to lift the items from the sensing device that automatically billed you for the item. This was the first room we have ever stayed in with 3 telephones including one next to the toilet - for certain emergency's I suppose lol. In summary - Check in was painless - bed was comfy - bar expensive - restaurant good value - breakfast very good - great location in city centre. we are planning to stay again. The only downside was that we asked for an extra pillow but it never arrived and the cleaning around the edges of the room was'nt great and the carpet stained here and there but we enjoyed the stay and we plan to stay there again.

Nice hotel, perfect location very close to train station and shops etc. Great breakfast. Lovely shower (although the lights weren't very bright in the bathroom). Some problems with checking in and with getting the right room but room itself very clean and comfy, would definitely recommend.

Very good value for money, clean and modern rooms, friendly staff, two minutes walk from New Street Station

First timers at this hotel, great location in centre, within walking distance of all attractions. Rooms were of an excellent standard with some nice touches and a good hearty english breakfast. A small criticism would be that on arrival we were left standing for 15 - 20 minutes as there was only one person on the check in desk - even though there were 2 staff chatting away in the back ground who eventually did open up another desk. Despite this we had an enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend this hotel.
