Location Overview

This 4 star hotel is located in the city centre of Istanbul and was established in 2004. Hippodrome Hotel is located in Sultanahmet area with a view of the Blue Mosque and Marmara Sea, was a former Ottoman House, which has been transformed into a modern hotel, while retaining the style and atmosphere of the Ottoman retreat. Airport is 15 km away.

Very nice location. But insist on giving a room at their main hotel and not at the apart hotel. Possibly operated by Best western obelisk, breakfast area overlooks bosphorous on one side and blue mosque on other side. Good choices of food items.

This is not at all a 4 stars hotel...maximum 2! I was given a room in their apparthotel which is in another building, and had to take the breakfast (quite poor) in a 3rd hotel. The room and the bathroom were very basic and small! They were not very clean! I wouldn't stay there again!
