| Small but very well-designed rooms with all features such as retractable clothes line, hooks, shelves, coffee/tea in the room, very well ventilated and quiet. Liked it so much that we returned for our final night before flight home. Challenging to find the first time, asked at the tourist info in the downtown railway station; take the S10 train to Triemil stop on way to Uetliberg (1/2 fare and 8 minutes), turn right off train and the signs for the hotel are on the fence. Walked the trails to top of Zurich (Uetliberg) behind the hotel and enjoyed seeing the community gardens in the area. There are a few local restaurants; otherwise, must go downtown for restaurants. |
