| The Rigihof Hotel was built in the Bauhaus style in 1931 and is regarded as a prime example of the architecture of the time. Bauhaus marked the start of modern-age architecture in the 20s. Its characteristic features are a functional design, clear, distinct lines, pronounced colors and light rooms. Bauhaus architecture embodies openness and clarity as its basic stylistic principles. The Hotel Rigihof provides newly renovated, tastefully furnished rooms in an historic building for your comfortable accommodation. All rooms are equipped with bath or shower, hairdryer, satellite and cable channels broadcasting TV, radio, direct dialing telephone, mini-bar, kettle, safety deposit box, computer and fax extension and soundproof windows. A few rooms provide additionally a balcony. Also available are some rooms for non smokers |

| The architectural style of the building forms the theme of the restaurant. The restaurant interior takes up the Bauhaus theme in a vivid manner. A highly varied selection of light, seasonal dishes and Zurich specialties is accompanied by selected wines from Hotels wine cellar. Hotels Bauhaus restaurant serves seasonal and local specialties seven days a week in the summer on the Terrace. On Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. hotels popular piano brunch takes place. | Room was ok - quiet environment even during the Street Parade. |

| Interesting Bauhaus style, staff extremely helpful. Prime location, excellent restaurant, breakfast first-rate. Ask for room at back, as faces street with tram line. Only problem for this stay was noisy early morning construction on street at back. |

| Employees are quite friendly and well trained. Room was rather small but comfortable. Location was not best but once i learned how to use trams, i found it was not a problem. Reasonable price, when everything considered. |

| The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I very much appreciated the internet access at no extra cost. The room was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast staff were also very friendly and competent. My stay was most enjoyable, and I would recommend the hotel to others. |
