Lindner Grand Beau Rivage Hotel, Interlaken

This is an excellent hotel. it is the 4th time we have stayed here. The hotel is ideally located for the local station (Interlaken Ost), from where it is easy to reach almost any part of Switzerland. Staff at the hotel were very friendly, the breakfast buffet is extensive, and the view form the breakfast room of the Alps is stunning. Very good swimming pool and sauna area. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel was very attentive to all needs! They were amazing. Great food and service. Beautiful and luxurious.

Really enjoyed my time in this hotel!! I was really impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the actual building itself. A real grand dame! By far the highlight though was the music in the bar at night. THE most talented pianist I have ever heard. It really made our trip.

Great hotel. Well situated. Wonderful breakfast. Dinner very expensive. No air conditionning. Room small.

Not a 5 star hotel but very nice. Very helpfukk staff. This is our second time in the same hotel' and this time we got a very nice big room with a nice view. Breakfast is really very good. we'll recomend the hotel to our friends.

Definitly not a 5* hotel, but good value for money. Good breakfast, very clean. The water in the swimming pool was too cold for swimming. We asked for a higher floor but did not get one.

Excellent hotel,lovely rooms. Very good breakfast buffet and staff. Relaxing leisure facilities - pool sauna etc of a very good standard. Location first class - literally two minutes walk form Interlaken Ost station. (Swiss trains superb!) Only downside was the hotel bar and reception area - they still allow smoking and it smelled badly of smoke. (luckily smoking was not allowed in the breakfast room. )

hotel was fabulous. Telephoned from railway station and withi 2 minutes we were picked up, bage taken to our rooms. Wonderful polite and helpful staff. Deco was luxurious. Would absolutely strongly recommend

We go to Switzerland for a few days in May every year, usually the best time to go - summer in the valleys, winter and skiing higher up only a hour away. This was our first time in Interlaken and to a lovely hotel. Interlaken is a lovely town and within easy reach of mountains - Jungfraujoch (the highest railway in Europe) and the Schilthorn (James Bond) mountain. It is also easy to get to Bern (wonderful shopping) and Zurich or Lucerne. We had possibly one of the "cheaper" rooms but it was large, bright and airy with a lovely view over the mountains, the only quibble is that there is no air-conditioning, not too much of a problem in May but could be later on. Breakfasts (included) have the full range and everything is fresh. The restaurant is excellent, I specially recommend the cheeseboard! The barman (Marko) makes mean cocktails!! The pool and spa are also first rate, as are the treatments. The only tiny criticisms are the lack of air-conditioning and there is no tea/coffee or water in the rooms. We will be back. There are very variable room rates available - be sure to check several suppliers.
