Very nice hotel in a very convenient location in Geneva, right next to the train station. I stayed in a nicely decorated clean room. All the basics are there and it was spacious enough. Not much choice for breakfast but having a breakfast at the 8th floor is a treat itself. Lobby staff is very helpful. Excellent choice to stay in Geneva considering many other expensive alternatives with a lot of low rated reviews.

we chose location near to station due to time of arrival. The area is non- threatening.Rooms are larger than average with good bathrooms, soundproofing,safes and tea making facilities.Reception staff are friendly and well informed and issue the welcome free travel passes which we used a lot.We found a couple of good local brasseries for evening meals, but a walk or a tram to the old town would reveal loads of posh places to eat.It's a very easy walk to the lakeside. Would definitely recommend a visit to the botanic gadens after a trip to the United Nations though I can't even believe I'm saying this as it makes me feel geriatric!Good hotel, though and nice eggs for breakfast.
