While the hotel is very clean and in a good central location, it is very noisy.I received a quiet room (as not to the street but to one of the tiny courtyards) but could hear people walking up and down in the neighboring house's staircase and adjoining rooms. I will definitely not stay there again during my next trip to Berne.

First rate hotel - room overlooking main square -hotel situated one block from main railway station. Excellent breakfast by swiss standards including hot scrambled eggs and bacon as well as continental hams, cheeses, yoghurts, cereals,jams, fruit etc. The position is noisy, but have found wherever you stay in central Bern you must expect this. Staff very friendly and accommodating - especially reception.

Great location as it is close to the station but terrible directions provided. Rooms were clean and practical but there was no air conditioning. Breakfast buffet was simple and surprisingly healthy. Extremely close to the main squares for dinner and to the Fan Zone in Bern.
