Great location and mobility ticket makes commuting very easy. Clean, very friendly staff. Superb breakfast buffet. Will defenitely stay there again.

Hotel was wunderfull, we went to the art fair in Basel, who was lokated on the same place, the breakfast was very generous en well done, the rooms were nice and clean. We just had a misunderstanding by our arriving, I booked two rooms and my douchters arrived earlier and checked in ... so far no problem, when i arrived with my girlfriend to check in and I confirmed her my douchter already checked inn he would not believe me because she did not find her booking in the computer , even when we told her th number off the room (504) she booked inn , she would not believe us and said my doughter must be staying in another roomande the umber off the room i mentioned did not excist .... finally I called my doughter and give the phone trough the reception lady ....than finally she accept it ( she held us before as we were telling not the thrue )and saw that it was not booked in the computer by the person who checked inn my douchter ..... anyway this is not a big deal but the lady in the front desk who did our check inn was very ....unpolied , insist all the time that we were mistaken and even did not make any excuse for her unkindness and for the mistake made by the hotel ..... as an owner myself of a hotel i find this way of working by hotel staff very enoying, it is to them to check iff there is no mistake in their system and not keeping the customer as we are telling something unreal, I have no ...purpose by saying that one room was already taken inn by my douchter when I arrived, eaven it should be helping her for finding the mistake , but no ... she insisted we were wrong ... , I think this schould be mentioned ,customer comes to hotel to have a nice stay and ... wehen reception is problem ( and especially unpolied .. this is very unpleasant, this lady works on the wrong place .... she has to be helpfull forr the customers ....)

Nice and friendly staff, well located, tram pass makes commuting and sight seeing easy, great breakfast, bed linen, especially pillows are somehow substandard for this hotel class. Non-smoking in restaurant as well as in the lobby would be appreciated.
