On arrival we had to wait 15 mins to check in as there was only 1 receptionist and this was at 16.00.
The twin room we got was on the 2nd floor and the view consisted of a cobbled roof.
The room was spacious enough which was more than you could say for the bathroom. Small was being kind to it.Plus there was no extractor in the bathroom.
Breakfast was eatable but the choice and standard was not to the level of a say marriott hotel.
All in all the renovations were obvious but counted for little when the food was not to a high level but at a high price.

We booked a room at the sheraton stockholm because we "knew" we could count on a high standard for more but not so much more money than a usual 4 star hotel. We were by no means aware of the ongoing restoration work, which had turned the hotel into a construction site with sometimes extremely disturbing borring and hammering noise. On two occasions we even ran out of hot water. The common premises of the hotel were reduced to half the size, and we had to find our ways throuh narrow and complicated stairways and corridors. I don´t think it is fair to have to pay 160 eur per night for that standard. Any decent 3 star hotel would have been better.
