The Rica City Hotel is superbly situated in the city center, with shopping facilities, entertainment, sightseeing and the Central Station being within walking distance. The hotel is only 400 m from the Central Station and City Coach Terminal.

The hotel has 292 modern rooms. Most of the rooms are newly renovated in modern Scandinavian style and are equipped with mini-bar, safety deposit box, air-conditioning, hair dryer, radio and cable/pay TV. In addition, hotel provides a range of smoking rooms, as well as rooms designed to meet the needs of disabled guests

Restaurants & Bars

The hotel features a private lunch restaurant where excellent Swedish homely fare is served on weekdays. The area around the hotel features a wide range of restaurants, from very simple to the most exclusive. The hotel co-operates with a number of restaurants in the neighbourhood and most of Stockholm's nightclubs, pubs, and discotheques are within easy walking distance.

Facilities & Services

Hotel is equipped with a sauna and is situated near a fitness center, equipped with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. A number of fine golf courses are available in the Stockholm area. Across the street from the hotel is the Cinema Filmstaden Sergel where 10 to 15 different films on view every day.

Business Facilities

The hotel offers conference facilities in a pleasant environment with personal service. 7 conference rooms are available; all equipped with modern audio-visual equipment suitable for 10 to 90 persons. Lunch and coffee for conference guests are served in the hotel’s beautiful Winter Garden.

Nice and competent staff. Quick and easy check-in by arrival. The breakfast room however a bit messy. Maybe too many guests in the restaurant at that time (8 am) according to staff present.

The hotel reception stff were very accomodating and helpful. We were very disappointed in the size of our triple room. It was too small for three people for 150 euro per night and the third bed that was added to the room was only a camp bed and not very comfortable. The hotel staff assured us that the biggest room they have is a twin room so yeego should state that the third bed in a triple room in this hotel is a camp bed. From the pictures on the website we expexted a much bigger room. The breakfast was delicious and location fantastic.

Good hotel for mid-budget business traveller as it has a central location within blocks of the train & bus stations (coming from the airports). We had a symposium there and it was acceptable, but a bit strange as attendees had to walk through a hall of the hotel to get the the meeting room. Coffee break selection was a bit dissappointing.

Perfectly located, fantastic breakfast (more like a banquet), extremely friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint was that I booked a double room and got a twin room. Other than that absoultely top hotel. Totally recommended.
