| Spent two nights in this hotel in October 2008 and would love to come back with my wife and spend more time exploring this lovely city. The hotel's location could hardly be better as it is right in the centre of the Old Town (Gamla Stan) amid a network of narrow cobbled streets with very little traffic. Very friendly staff on reception and a reasonable breakfast selection. The building itself is very old so all rooms are different shapes and sizes - if you want modern decor and furniture then don't stay here. Good places to eat nearby - ask at reception. Only 5 minutes walk to underground metro station so easy to get to/from airport and also to get to other parts of city. Highly recommended!! |

| This hotel is full of charm and is located in an excellent position for shops and restaurants within the old town. It is just seconds away from the royal palace and a cathedral, but be warned this has a clock that chimes every quarter hour all through the night! Rooms were comfortable but not luxurious and the bathroom was quite basic. Staff were very helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was fresh and healthy. |
