Hotel is ok. Not very special in terms of luxury: forget about the sauna and fitness, forget about the luxurious breakfasts, no spectacular view from the room. But if you don't bother being surrounded by groups of Dutchmen and you are looking for a good hotel to discover the city, it's a great place to stay.

Originally put in an extremely hot room that was small and cramped. Air con didn't work and someone had clearly been chain smoking in there even though we requested non smoking. After complaining we were put in a far nicer room , much more light and airy, cleaner etc. Shame this couldn't have been our first room! Staff were ok but little English is spoken even by senior staff so you often just got looked at like a crazy person when you asked a question. Breakfast was fine, the hot food looked like it had been there a while so we didn't dare try it! The gym is absolutely terrible- shouldn't be advertised as a gym!!! Really small, garden shed size with 2 pieces of old equipment and boiling hot. Also smelt terrible- like male toilets!! Good location for getting around, buses are definately worth taking and stop right outside the hotel. All in all it's fine for a long weekend, near by all ameneties and lovely park, Just make sure you get a decent room!
