| Marylanza 4 star? Room: Dusty, in need of a good clean. Dust on bedroom lockers clearly visable and on other surfaces. The Maids were in the room daily, but never spotted the dust nor the dirty mirrors in the sliding wardrobes. Balcony never cleaned during our stay. One postive really good size apartment and huge balcony perfect for a small family. Bathroom: On arrival and during our stay, a smell of damp was noticable in the bathroom: The wall mounted toilet brush holder had a poodle of "water" in it. This may have been the cause of the smell. Bedlinen: Sheets clean but top cover was old and worn out, not becoming of a 4 star resort. Furniture + TV: Dated in need of modernisation. Only one English speaking TV channel. In this day and age we would have expected more. German speaking guests had the choice of a number of channels. Buffet: Breakfast only, Very busy restuarant. Staff had a habit of clearing the table while you foraged for the second part of your breakfast or while you refilled your coffee cup. Coffee and Juices served from vending machines and was of a very poor diluted quality. Food industrial and tasteless. Location: Not very close to the beach 15min. Golf course is at the back of the resort and seemed to be more for the use of other resorts even thought advertised as "Marylanza Golf Resort". Expensive: One example,normal size 30g packet of crisps €2, robbery! In summary, dusty room for improvement. |
