excellent position right in the centre, a bit old the furniture, very good and large breakfast. friendly staff, I would recommend it as it has a good balance price/quality.

The first stay the room was very nice with a separat part with sofa and TV. The second stay the room featured a backyard and it was a bit noisy - you could hear neighbours talking. Breakfast OK.

The hotel is situated very central, no need to take a bus or metro to go to Puerta del Sol or musea. The berakfast is okay, waiters are friendly. Personel at the desk is not very friendly. There is one elevator which can contain 4 people. This is far too little, for the hotel is big (7 stocks), so you sometimes will have to walk (and we were on the 7th floor!). Rooms were clean, but furniture old, but ok. There is NO airconditioning, so don't go here in summer! We thought is very good value for money and we'll surely return.

but with earplugs you can sleep good.Beds are not double but 2 single beds together but for a few days it,s allright.Staff was very friendly.Bar was not open at evening time.Location was excellent near the Sol en breakfast was allso oke.Iff we go back to Madrid we would stay in the same hotel.

All round a complete dump! the rooms have since better days everything needed ripping out. I was on the 4th floor and walking down through the others all looked the same. The bedding didnt look clean and the security of rooms were vulnerable. It also seemed that this hotel was housing drop-outs cos they were clearly not tourists! Service was poor I was given the impression by the staff if you dont speak spanish then they will be rude to you. You would laugh at the breakfast as you would sit down to a bread roll and orange juice. Not worth the money like people say (for 10euros more you can have a clean hotel). Only plus point was the location was perfect 100m from Sol and

Quiet rooms, need more clean, we ask for room no smokers but had a smoke smell . The location was very good. Good breakfast, good service in the restaurant.

We just used the room. Reception desk was not overly enthousiastic but nonetheless correct. Just use earplugs if you are bothered by the usual noise of paasing traffic etcetera. Nice central location. Good relation between quality and price. The room was comfortable, the mattresses a little hard. Everything quite clean, we had room 101.

In the hotel information says that the rooms were renovated and new. Our room was the 222 that was awful. Very old very dirty. The linen were clean but so used that were ready to be teared apart. There was a pityful window not in the street but into a dirty space and you could not get air from there. Breakfast ok.

The rooms were clean and nice. The location was perfect (near center and metrostop). In the evening not always that quiet, but OK. Nice hotel for budgetprice.

The hotel is good situated in the middle of the centre. But it has no airconditioning so we had to open our doors/windows to have fresh air. The noise at the streets keep you awake. The breakfast is very good and the personell is friendly. If you stay in Madrid for just a couple of days this hotel is very good. But if you want to stay a week we advise you to go somewhere else.
