The Kris Suites Hotel Aeropuerto is a lovely two star establishment that is placed in the industrial area next to the shopping center called Plenilunium. It is located only 15 minutes from Paseo De La Castellana and five minutes from the airport and IFEMA fairground. The hotel offers excellent access by road to Madrid’s city center.

Fine hotel, close to Madrid Airport. Good free shuttle service from/to Airport. Clean and nice rooms. Staff is kind and helpful. Drawbacks: Food (restaurant and breakfast) is quite depressing. Air Heating is quite unstable, so it's hard to mantain a constant temperature all night long. I had to wake up several times in order to adjust the temperature.

The hotel room was very good, clean and spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was also good. But.... we ate in the hotel for our evening meal and whereas my daughter's meal was good mine was very unsatisfactory. My main meal was tuna with a bit of salad and the tuna didn't taste good, and my daughter agreed - she gave me half of hers which was lovely. We complained to the waitress who took away a portion of tuna and the chef declared it good! The following morning I had bad diarrhoea which smelt bad! I was offered another meal but declined as I had eaten half of my daughters and couldnt eat another whole meal. I was given one profiterol with my dessert which was apparently a token of apology for my not enjoying my meal. I was very unhappy with my treatment by the kitchen staff and the hotel should have reimbursed some of the cost of the meal. I was very unhappy with my treatment, but overall my stay at hotel was good.

Kris Suites hotel was exactly what we needed for a quick stopover in Madrid (late arrival - early next day departure). Close to the airport and very convenient with the airport shuttle bus offered by Kris Suites. Since the hotel is located in the outskirts of Madrid in an industrial area the hotel is probably less convenient for an actual Madrid city holiday.
