although we booked a double room in advance when we got to the hotel they gave us a twin room. when asked to change the rooms the guy at the reception tried to convince us that in spain double and twin are the same, and only after arguing with him he transferred us to a double room. Also breakfast was very poor - only bread butter and jam, with no option for either cheese, egg or ham of any kind.

convenient, central location,metro 30mtrs. small rooms, basic and reasonable value for no frills bed and shower.colourful area at night,though felt secure.would stay again if only for night or two.

Hotel was very clean.Room was ok-just about adequate.Service was passable.Breakfast was the worst of any hotels I have ever stayed at. Portions were minute and we were poured one small cup of coffee-no refills offered.Breakfast was one bread roll and a mini fairy cake EVERY day-no variety.Location was convenient as it was central. Incidently the Red Light area was on the next street and prostitutes were lingering in the daytime. it didn't bother us particularly but it certainly would some people.I would not stay there again

First of all, it wasn't a hotel as it was described in the website. It was a hostal, and the street where it was located was very busy and the noise was awful. More over, the breakfast was nothing special. And, you had to pay extra money for the remote control if you wanted to watch T.V. The only good thing was that the people that worked in the Hostal Galicia were friendly. It
