Hotel is situated in a quiet street. It is clean and staff is helpful and polite. Breakfast was good and abundant, but quite basic. Our room on the top floor was airy and had a terrace. The bathroom was newly decorated with bright colours. A bit of disturbance next door as workmen were refurbishing other bedrooms, but we were sightseeing most of day so it hardly bothered us.All in all we were very satisfied.

The absolutely greatest thing about the hotel is its address. It is situated very close to the sights, shops and restaurants. Also, the railway station is within walking distance. My room was comfortable, but the street outside was very noisy, and the air conditioning didn't lower the room temperature to a sufficient degree. The cleaning staff cleaned the room and the bathroom every day, but didn't always check the supply of cleenex, toilet paper, etc. Also, I would have liked some information about the hotel in the room, for example information about breakfast (when was it served and where). However, the reception staff was extremely polite and helpful. Finally, the price and information on the internet made me expect a better class hotel, but then I had never visited Madrid before and didn't know anything about hotel prices.
