Room hot and stuffy, qir con was not working. Breajfast was good (no other meals served) Staff mainly good, although things we asked to be put right were never remedied. We were stuck in the left for 1/2 hr when it stopped between floors. There were 6 people in it (one a young boy, none overweight) and the capacity stated 8 people! Outside, surroundings tatty, but this was not the Hotel's fault as building work is going on

WE STAYED TWICE IN THE HOTEL.
ITS LOCATION IS VERY GOOD BUT ON BOTH STAYS WE HAD A VERY SMALL ROOM , AND ON OUR SECOND STAY THE A/C DID NOT WORK IN THE HOTEL ,AND THEY DIDN'T FIX IT,SO IT WAS VERY HOT IN OUR ROOM.

Perfect location. Off Gran Via but quiet nevertheless. The little plazza del carmen must be very nice in summer time. Normal double rooms very small (as bright as the bed!). I missed a bath tub! We've been walking so much all day that a relaxing bath would have been quite welcome. The jaccuzzi shower is absolutly useless unless you measure 2m and you don't care about flooding the whole bathroom. I can still recommand this hotel.
