| We wanted to spend nice and relaxing time in a clean and modern hotel near city centre. I spend a lot of time choosing the hotel.I read reviews, looked at photoes, because I wanted no carpets. On Web pages of our hotel there are a lot of very impressive photos.Modern rooms, no carpets,reconstruction 2006,0,5 km from city centre. Who would resist?But reality is different. Rooms are not reconstructed. They might have been untouched for 15 years .Dirty carpets, dirty walls, dirty curtains,old bathroom. What was reconstructed is dining room and hotel entrance. Breakfast was excellent and the entrance hall very nice. The first day we walked to city centre. It took us more than 1 hour to get to Calle Alcala. I like walking, I prefer it. But the hotel position is not very handy.You must use underground which is very dirty and smelly. I was surprised. You wouldnt expect that in an European country. Maybe it was just at the end of the year. But those who want to stay near city centre and just walk shouldnt choose this hotel |

| While located away from the main attractions the hotel is only 50 metres from the metro. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Breakfast selection was limited and not great value for money (€15.00 + tax) |

| The hotel is in great shape, the suites nicely outfitted (flat panel tvs, modern decor) and is located 1/2 block from a metro station, very convenient for my purposes. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. The only negative was making the mistake of having the breakfast buffet. Four of us really only wanted coffee, but were directed to the buffet line...fruit, cereal, cold eggs: $84!!! Ouch. Other than that, no hidden charges, no issues. I'd stay again. |

| The rooms are nice and clean. A goood idea the free frigo bar. All services are very good. Only the food (breakfast) is very, but very terrible!!!! Old fruit, hot yogurt... And the waiters very rude. I'm sorry, but it is so!! |
