Recently renovated and up to date, the T3 Tirol is very well situated as a downtown hotel, in the midst of the fashionable Moncloa-Argüelles residential and business district of Madrid. It is located just across the street from the department store El Corte Inglés of Princesa and a short walking distance from the Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace and the University campus. While ideally located as a business hotel it very well serves the leisure traveller. The distance to the Madrid International Airport is approximately 15 km

We (2) where staying at the hotel for 2 nights to meet our spanish friends in Madrid. I have stayed at this this hotel many times through the years but it's getting a liitle "tired" to see. Our room 417 : Air Condition was not working right (i didn't complain about it), the doors were squeaking and didn't close properly, strange smell in the room and the furniture rather old. The bathroom was was wery good exept ligts over the mirror didn't shine at you. The elevaitors are old and tired. For 3 "spanish" star hotel it was OK for 2-3 nights. Staff at desk was professional and good, cleaning good, morning breakfast was rich and good, exept the coffee-machine was not a hotel-machine and there was no eggs (no huevos). I will sure come back to this hotel for this price and for 2-3 days staying because the location is wery good and silence at nights in the area if you are stying in a room with windows faced in garden / at the middle. Recommended for short stay.

Hotel Tirol was a pleasant hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were clean and quiet. The hotel staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was satisfactory.
