The location of Alixares Hotel (formerly Hotel Alixares del Generalife) is within the complex of the Alhambra, a monument that declared the inheritance of mankind and is only a few minutes from the city centre. This hotel was completely renovated in 2004 and it now provides comfortable and modern guestrooms. There are 201 comfortable guestrooms including double, single, triple and twin rooms. The rooms have been nicely decorated. All feature a mini fridge, a safe, private bathroom and room service is available. Fantastic views from all the rooms.

Nice hotel, very good position (less than 5 minuts walking from Alhambra; 20 minuts to the center of Granada). The only thing: remember to forget the car (this is a must -a good must- for Granada) after you park in the public parking in front to the hotel. We had a quiet large room, and our breakfast were abundant and good. Unfortunately the swimming pool was glosed (at the end of april) ant this is a pitty, considering that after a day visiting Granada every one probably enjoy to swimm. But this is the only real bad thing I found of the hotel.
