The hotel was clean but the room was small. 1 english speaking tv channel, eurosport, small mini bar and no tea / coffee facilities in the room. The other hotel facilities were minimal The hotel is around 2km away from the main centre of Barcelona with not much in the way of nightlife around. On saying this the walk into town is pleasent and you cant help but walk in Barcelona, lots to see. Nr Hotel is Bar Berlin which is nice but only one near. Not bad but if you want busy nightlife, get closer to town.

The room was extra spacious, nice, they
do not serve breakfast until 7 am and
had to leave for airport at 6:30, could
not even get a cup of coffee. Clean
environment. and they held our luggage
before check in time so we could go and
explore the city, which we truly appreciated.

The room was exactly as billed and thoroughly cleaned each day. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise -- there were lots of choices. The hotel was on a main street, about 6 long blocks from the nearest Metra stop, but it was a pleasant walk. Nights were noisy -- outside, not in the hotel. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful or friendly.
