Hotel Ingles, Barcelona

Good location, clean room, and nice customer services.

Rooms: basic. But every day clean towels and clean room. Location: fantastic! Breakfast: not so much choice, not good.

We had the booking by yeego.com and everything was all-right. Our room was at the back-side (more quiet than in the front) and it was large and very clean. I was there with a friend and it was spacious enough! Every day we had new towels and the room was made-up. It was very quiet sleeping, the only worse thing I can say about the hotel is that you can hear neighbours in the bathroom, but it was no big harm to us.Another good thing is, that there is a elevator. The price is a bit high for a one star hotel; but this is Barcelona and everything is more expensive... The location of the hotel is just perfect!!! You are three steps away from the ramblas (where many taxis also stop) and 5 steps from the metro. Next to the hotel is a nice little tapasbar (Acoma) with a pavement at the back where is live music. It is very authentic and many young Spanish people come here. It's lovely! At the other side of the hotel is a little restaurant where the breakfast is served. It is nothing special, but it is included in the hotelprice, so you have a free coffee and croissant!(don't take the toast) I will definitely go again to this hotel, I would highly recommend it to anybody. The only negative factor was the noise from the street. But that follows the location on a nice walking street in the gothic part of town. Very nice coffehouse at one side of the hotel and very nice restaurant at the other hand. The service of the staff was also excellent. We could keep our luggage at the hotel until late as we did not have flyght until midnight. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was also good. Would stay there again despide the noise. One just has to use earplugs.

Big rooms, clean, in central Barcelona just some 100 metres from the Rambla, some noise from the street, but not bad. Bath room with small bath tub, tv in the room. The breakfast was ok, not very exiting: juice, coffee and toast or croissant. Very good to the price. We would like to stay there again, next time we go to Barcelona.
