| The hotel was pretty good. The breakfast was nice, but not very extenisve. We had a nice room, it was only a little bit hot, because the airconditioning was broken. Besides this, sometimes there was a bad smell in the room. |

| Hotel Milleni is located not far from La Rambla and many of the touristic areas. The hotel is complete with a gym, sun deck and many simple ammenities you wouldn't think of. The hotel had air conditioning in the room but when put at 10 degrees celcius I can say for certain it didn't even get close. Maybe 20 is more like it. Breakfast for 15 euro's wasn't even a concept in my mind for a buffet breakfast. Our biggest complaint overall was regarding a recommendation to book a taxi to the airport through the hotel. We were told that by doing so it would be safe and cheaper than picking one up outside. Not only was the ride not cheaper it cost us more because the hotel staff arranged for the ride 20 minutes earlier than we had requested and by doing so cost us and not them. On top of that upon getting the hotel I fear for my life because when attempting to discuss the price with the driver he wouldn't have anything of it. Tried to offer a deal and he took my bag and threw it back into his taxi and wanted to drive off. I went to open the door and he stormed around and grabbed me by my backpack, threw me against another car and much much anger was in his eyes. I'd suggest this hotel if you want something cheap and in a decent area centrally located but don't expect much else. |
