This was a great hotel! the rooms were very nice, quiet and clean and had huge windows and a great view! hotel staff were helpful and the breakfast was ok. The location was also good, lying close to both tram and subway.

We had a great time at the hotel silken diagonal in barcelona ( 3 nights).
The breakfast is excellent.
The hotel is situated near the underground station, just 200m to walk. Bus station just by the hotel hotel (you can take the bus going back from the olimpic area by the sea) the surrundings is not excellent, but that does not matter.

Nice design hotel, nice breakfast, great view from the (tiny) pool.
Location though is a bit too far and requires using taxi or subway to go anywhere.
Service in the hotel is rather bad, but most of barcelona is the same.
Housekeeping is rather bad : dirty glasses were left for the entire length of our stay, same for some bits of paper on the carpet (not sure they bothered using a vacuum-cleaner).
