The breakfast was OK. The room was very small, and with no window at all (but it was very quite, so I wasn't too disappointed). One reason why I booked room at this hotel, was that they said that they had a fitness room. That turned out not to be correct - I had to pay EUR 7.20 to get access to a fitness center five minutes from the hotel.

We booked this hotel, knowing it was about 15-20minutes walk to the shopping area (the goal of our trip). But the distance to the shopping area appeared not to be that far at all! Just a few minutes with the (new?) metro line nr 5. For people who will visit Barcelona for the first time: metro is the easiest way to travel in this city and everything has been made very clear; you always know which direction to take. The hotel was great: friendly people, new rooms with design features and great beds to rest on after walking all day. Great price/quality relation. Some of the new features in the (bath)room didn't work yet, but that was ok for us. We didn't have booked the breakfast, because we wanted to eat in the centre every morning. We visited Barcelona more than once and we can tell that not all hotels are this quality! Sometimes you pay more and get much much less... However the conclusion is clear: we recommend this hotel to anyone & we will stay for certain again during our next trip to this great city!
