We booked two double rooms which unfortunately were cramped with no views whatsoever - the window faced into a well in the middle of the building. No bedside table, just a shelf above our head, which you had to remember when waking up in the morning! Did'nt try restaurant as disappointed with hotel room. Tried to change room but we were told hotel was full. Location was about the only thing that was good - near La Ramblas and other shops and cafes. The other couple we were with had not been to Barcelona before and were very disappointed with accommodation. Would not return to Gravina Hotel for above reasons.

Plus poinst: friendly staff,excellent breakfast, clean and tidy rooma and bathroom. Central situation, access to the internet in the lounge. Minus points: small room, no real ventilation system, noisy street, there was a safe in the room, but it was old-fashioned (needed a key instead of a code). Nevertheless tt was a good choice.

The location is great. On a quiet street not far from the some of the main tourist hot spots. The service was good, helpfull and attentive. Breakfast was good. Single room was the very small. There was no external window therefore there was no ventalation and the room and bathroom had an unpleasent oder.

Very nice hotel staff, asked for interior room, non-smoking, and double bed and got it all in room 622, but... it was oh so small! The bed hardly fit in the room. You may want to look before you commit.

This hotel was in a very central location in Barcelona. The staff couldn't be more helpful and efficient. I didn't dine in the hotel because there are so many good tapas bars in its vicinity. The room was very small but clean, and there was no traffic noise. The only problem was corridor noise, which was quite bad in the mornings. If you're looking for somewhere to lay your head for a couple of nights in Barcelona, I'd recommend this hotel, but bring ear plugs to drown out the morning corridor noise.
