Location Overview

Barcelona Port Hotel is a simple new hostal offering room only accommodation in a central location. Recently opened in April 2005. The location is just off the Ramblas at the port end. This is an ideal location in the city centre of Barcelona, close to the port, gothic quarter and of course the Ramblas

Rooms Information

The hotel has a only 20 rooms almost all of which are twin bedded. The rooms have parque flooring and are ensuite with a shower rather than bath tub. The rooms have a reasonable range of facilities, all have their own air conditioning and central heating, as well as personal safe

Restaurants & Bars

Barcelona Port Hotel does not serve breakfast but there are plenty of places to grab a bite within a few minutes walk (along the Ramblas)

The hotel was a 5 minute walk to La Rambla and great value for money. Not only was it spotlessly clean, but the staff were all extremely helpful and pleasant. We would definitely recommend this small hotel. Also, the best place to eat in Barcelona is La Fonda (just off La Rambla), the hotel will give directions.

Convenient location, extremely clean,small (but adequate) room size, friendly/helpful staff. Member of our party was robbed in front of hotel through an obvious set-up. Do not believe hotel staff involved but perhaps they can do something to prevent future incidents in front of their entrance.

Location is excellent, personnel extremely helpful & warmhearted. Room was clean, had a lot of space and vending machine outside in the corridor was excellent plus.

we were pleased the hotel was clean, staff very helpful (hailed cab, friendly, directed us to laundromat,etc). stayed prior to and also after cruise, great location for that.
