| The Sterkfontein Caves was home to the first adult hominid fossil found in 1936. Embedded in the rocks, are the fossilized remains of hominids, animals, plants and pollen dating back over 3.3 million years. Visit the Wonder Cave 2.2 million years old. Game drives through the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, Old Kromdraai Gold Mine, Glass blowing at Ngwenya and Hot Air Ballooning are some of the exciting things to do.
