Location Overview

The Hotel Lev Ljubljana, one of the best 5 star hotel in Slovenia, is located in the centre and business district of Ljubljana, just five minutes walk from the major sightseeing attractions, the old town and the fairgrounds and is easily accessible from all major highways. The Hotel Lev opened its doors in 1964 as a first-class hotel. Among its guests were Agatha Christie, Orson Wells, Kirk Douglas, Louis Armstrong Satchmo and Ray Charles. In 1995, the meanwhile privatised Hotel Lev signed an Operating and Management agreement with Inter Continental Hotels & Resorts and started carrying out an ambitious renovation program. The Hotel has completed the renovation in the March 1999

The Hotel Lev Inter Continental Ljubljana provides 173 lavishly appointed guestrooms offering the latest in comfort and technological conveniences. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, electronic locks, smoke detectors and sprinklers, remote control TV, movie channels, cable TV with radio channel, videotext and programmable wake-up call, mini-bar, telephone with data port for modem and direct-dial line, double-glass windows, bathtub (in all bathrooms except rooms for the disabled), cosmetic mirror, additional telephone in bathroom, hairdryer and bathrobe

Restaurants & Bars

Hotel’s restaurant Rusalka offers rich American buffet breakfast daily from 06.00 until 11.00 as well as business buffet lunches and dinners on weekdays. The restaurant offers national and international cuisine and a large selection of beverages on á la carte basis from 12.00 until 23.00. Bar Kurent is located on the ground floor and offers a variety of beverages, snacks and light meals in a warm and inviting atmosphere

Facilities & Services

The Hotel plans to open a health center with fitness room, sauna and solarium in the near future, for the time being guests wishing to use these facilities are directed to the nearby fitness 6 health centre, located in the Tivoli park. The Tivoli park offers indoor and outdoor swimming pools, sauna, solarium, fitness club, aerobics, jogging path and tennis. For your added convenience, The Hotel Lev provides also 24 hrs room service, laundry & valet services, hairdressing salon, avis car rental desk, shops, commercial services and 24 hrs front desk

Business Facilities

The Hotel's Business centre is located on the mezzanine level and provides a PC with Internet and e-mail access, printer, telephone, fax and photocopying facilities. Hotel offers professional consultancy, care and services for everything from congresses through to festive banquets for up to 400 people

The hotel was great, however the breakfast was not too tasty: not much choice and the coffee was had a strange taste. Otherwise, the service, cleanliness and location - perfect!

Although not a 5 star hotel by UK standards the Hotel Lev was a very nice hotel. it was well located, only a 5-10 min walk to the riverside and old town. The hotel itself was fairly grand with decent sized rooms with all the necessary facilities. the room and bathroom were very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good with a wide choice.. we would definitely stay there again. A reasonably priced good quality hotel.
