| The hotel Botel has a lovely setting but the rooms are very cramped. We arrived approx 10.30 & could not get a hot drink or a sandwich. Remember, this is a boat & not easy to walk out & find a cafe. Th staff are "just doing their job" & seemed burdened. No happy smiles or warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice & a lovely view. We has lwft the window open to air the room but had to close it as smoke wafted in of string cigarettes. Don't expect any help with luggage to/from the main road & be very careful of walkway, especially when it has rained. I am a painter & decorator, used to climbing ladders in all weathers but even I found it tricky. The exchange rate is lower than the airport, so make sure you have enough Slovak currency as the Euro is NOT readily accepted yet. |

| The Botel is situated on the river, on walking distance of the old town of Bratislava. Specialy with good weather it a a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, very good english, the rooms are clean, complete and small, but larger than you would expect on a boat. The only thing that needs inprovement is breakfast. It looks that everything is put down at 7 in the morning. By 09.30 most of it is empty or cold. For the rest, an excelent place to stay while in Bratislava. |

| Enjoyed my 2 night stay at Botel Marina. The staff were friendly, rooms comfy, large buffet breakfast selection and most of all excellent location! It was only 5-10 minutes walk along the Danube from the the start of the old town. |

| the hotel was very clean the rooms were excellant, unfortunately the reception staff were a tad stoney and not very helpful. this did not spoil our enjoyment of the stay, the bar and restaurant facilities were 1st class. |
