The hotel claims to be a 4 star but I would not give it more then 3 stars only. I as well found the price to be way to high and if I need a sleepover one more time in Belgrade I will look for another place, The breakfast on the other hand was excellent and the location of the hotel was good as well.

Staff were very helpful, room was average, there were a few electric sockets hanging out of the wall...but overall it was value for money

The hotel is ok but I expected more for the price. It is in need of refurbishment to bring it up to present-day equivalents. The room entertainment is a television with a very limited range of channels

The old Slavija hotel (don't confuse with the nearby Slavia Lux) is quite low-end, but decent value for people on a budget. The hotel itself is pretty old and grim, with lots of 1960s/1970s feel. My single room was spare, with few amenities (no TV, which is surprising these days even in budget ex-communist hotels). It was clean enough, and the bathroom was functional if spare, and clean too -- no shower curtain. The carpet was old, and the lighting in the room quite dim. Nothing cheery about it, but nothing intolerable, at least to me. If you want modern and pleasant and charming in Belgrade, expect to pay much, much more. The location, right on Slavija Square, is hard to beat unless you want to be right down in the old city, which is about 15 min walk or an easy bus ride away. Another plus: the JAT shuttle bus from the airport, which costs about 2 Euro equivalent, stops right outside. Staff were pleasant and helpful. For the same niche, the Hotel Union is another decent option.

Rooms are in good, but old condition. I would not stay there for longer. Reception staff was very friendly. Breakfast Restaurant on 7th floor has an excellent view and the buffet was really very good. The price of 139.- € is definitely too high for the service, rooms, etc. you get.
