This hotel is in an excellent position right in the heart of edinburgh and great value for money. I had a single room which was quite small but had a 3/4 bed in it and it was perfectly adequate to sleep, watch tv and have a coffee. The bathroom was new and spotless and there was a large closet for clothes and suitcase. Breakfast fantastic, freshly cooked and hot, staff very friendly, polite and helpful.

The hotel is in a great location, just at the end of princes street. Within easy reach of all tourist attractions in central edinburgh. The airport express bus (100) dropped us at the door. The room was small which didn't bother us as we spent little time in the hotel. The room was clean and quite as we were located on the 4th floor. Breakfast was included and was very good. Cereals, juice and fruit were buffet style and the cooked breakfast was cooked to order.

The hotel was ideally located just of princes street. Rooms were comfortable, however there was little storage space. Woken up at 6.30am by window cleaners one morning, otherwise ok. Good breakfast sets you up for the day.

The hotel is not as nice as you describe. Our room is too small, the floor (made in wood under the carpet) is very noisy when someone walk trhough the corridor. Breakfast is always english breakfast and i think it can offer somethink of continental breakfast like more fruits or pastrys. Its true it is neat to the city center.
