| At £45 a night I knew this hotel would be fairly basic and it more or less met expectation. Well located on Princes Street, it was a little rundown but nothing too dramatic. The restaurant was always full, but I didn't try it after my Scottish breakfast which was swimming in oil. The room smelt a bit musty in spite of the open window that was impossible to shut - which was why the heating was on full blast - not a great carbon footprint! On a budget, I would stay there again. |
