| Unfortunately, we found the room was very small, "double" bed was only three quarter size, therefore small, TV aerial broken and we decided to eat cooked breakfast for 1 morning only due to its poor quality and size. Rating of 5 given only due to cleanliness, it had a comfortable lounge and the hotel situation is very central. |

| Room was tiny and very noisy - walls paper thin, could hear the couple in next room talking quite clearly. Although we arrived at 11am we were not able to check in until 2pm. There was nowhere secure to leave luggage, just a pile in the hall. The girl refused to even check us in so we knew our room number so we went off to explore Edinburgh (complete with backpacks, and when we came back we were in the annexe in probably the worst room in the hotel. Reception staff were not helpful at all or even friendly. Location was great. Didn't try the food. |
