| In general we were extremely happy with the Hotel Opera. Although it was in an excellent location for sightseeing, it was in a quiet street. The rooms were small but had recently been renovated to a high standard. Breakfast was good. Most of the staff were extremely pleasant. However, the receptionist on the day we arrived was not very helpful. He also told us we could not add bar expenses of 18 Lei to our room bill & that we had to pay cash. this seems a bit strange in this day & age! |

| Well-equipped rooms with welcome trays, mini-bar, soaps etc. Beds comfortable and clean, en-suite shower spotless and plenty of hot water. Breakfast buffet excellent although not offering a "full English". Staff speak good english and were very pleasant and helpful. Close to the centre, area a little seedy but being developed, the nearby park was delightful. We would not hesitate to use this hotel again. |

| location is satisfactory convenient being close to the park staff friendly and helpful rooms well appointed and clean great to have air conditioning (was very hot) well presented and complete breadfasts would be nice to have a double room looking out |
