Residencial Rex Hotel is a charming four star establishment offering delightful accommodations located in a downmarket square situated about 500 metres from Aliados. This beautiful Art Nouveau inspired building features period sea-green tiles, cast-iron embellishments and beautiful Roman-style window treatments that date back to 1845. Terrible, noisy and unclean hotel. They didnt even have toilet paper. 4 stars is a big joke. Yeego, please do not offer this hotel anymore.

Very cheap hotel in the center of Porto, easy if you take tram/metro from Airport go out at the stop Lapa or Trindade, 200mt by foot. 3Euros more if you like to have breakfast(take it). parking probably free if you come by car.

It was classified as 4 star hotel but standards were much lower. It was cold since the heating were not working all the time (swithched in upon arrival) but outside it was not warm. Water pipes were old and when water went away made noice. It was extremely unpleasant at night if somebody else washed in a room. During our stay they planned also painting of the hotel entrance. Do not recommend.

Easy access from airport by metro - Lapa stop is only about 500 m from hotel . It is extraordinary convenient for people coming late. Supermarket only 100 m from hotel . Near to everything. Very good value for money .
