| Excellent location, but maybe not accordingto the taxi driver's tyres. Anyhow, perched high up in the Alfama, with good access to trams, eateries etc this was good for us. Steep hills tone the calf muscles. Helpful, courteous staff. Good quality room. |

| Wonderful location with impressive views of the city! The staff were very helpful and keen to assist in which ever way possible. The room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was a little disappointing, but that's maybe because the coffee wasn't great. But overall a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days there. PS don't bother with the Lisboa Card unless you're planning to see every museum in Lisbon - not good value otherwise. Best to get a Colinas travel card from the Post Office for eg (Euro3.50 for 24 hrs travel) and enjoy the city from there. Taxis are also good value. |

| wonderful modern hotel in an old hilly part of town...Rooms on the first floor are very noisy...get all the street level noise and people coming in and out of the hotel....ask for the top floor with a balcony. these rooms are set back and beautiful....... |

| Hotel Olissippo Castelo has exceeded our expectations. The location is supreme with an easy access to most of the local attractions. After two days in Marbella an five days in Barcelona, this hotel provided us with great escape from busy business schedule prior arrival to Lisbon. One outstanding item worth mentioning, was very early morning departure from Lisbon going back via Frankfurt to San Francisco and Reno, USA. The reception staff asked us the night before departure if we would like to have a coffee and tee prior leaving for the airport. To our surprise; we were treated with coffee, tee and other goodies prior boarding taxi for the airport. Should I have any reason to return to Lisbon in the future, the Olissippo Castelo would be my choice number one for accomodation. |
